The Kosciuszko Foundation Ball 2024! Discounted Tickets for Students and A Chance to Win Free Tickets

The 87th Charity Ball of the Kosciuszko Foundation will take place on April 20 at the Plaza in Manhattan, New York City. The event will highlight the achievements of the Foundation's scholarship recipients and grant awardees and emphasize the organization's role in promoting and supporting education for future generations of students and scholars.

This year, the Foundation has prepared a special offer for its members – Member Referral Program – who have the chance to win tickets to the Ball. Each member who encourages someone from their circle of friends, acquaintances, or family to become a Foundation member will participate in a drawing for two double tickets to the Ball (for themselves and the invited person who purchased the membership, totaling four tickets). The offer is also valid for individuals purchasing Foundation memberships. The program is active until April 8, 2024. You can learn more on the KF website: https://thekf.org/join-our-membership-referral-program-to-win-tickets-to-kf-ball/

For representatives of the student part of the Polish community, the Foundation offers student tickets at reduced prices. The Kosciuszko Foundation Ball is an excellent opportunity to establish new connections within the Polish American community and graduates of the Foundation's educational programs, scientists, and specialists from various fields.

At this year's Ball, debutantes will also make an appearance after several years of absence. These will be representatives of the younger generation who will be officially presented to the guests at the Ball. Girls aged 16 to 23, distinguished by their educational achievements and social activities, can submit their applications by April 8, 2024. For detailed information, we invite you to visit our website, www.thekf.org, and contact us at (212) 734-2130.

The history of the Kosciuszko Foundation Ball dates back to 1928, when a banquet was held in honor of Ignacy Paderewski, an outstanding pianist, composer, politician, statesman, and advocate of Poland's independence. The event nurtures Polish and Polish-American traditions. It begins with the Polish and American anthems singing, followed by the Presentation of Colors by the USMMA, Kings Point, NY. Then, guests enjoy a Polish American Folk Dance Company performance, after which the dancers invite everyone to join the Polonaise. The Ball is also an opportunity to establish new and refresh old acquaintances and dance to the rhythm of dance hits performed by the Gerard Carelli Orchestra.

The Ball is also the Foundation's most important fundraiser, aimed at raising funds for its educational programs in the next academic year. Thanks to the generosity of members and donors, last year the Foundation raised a record sum of nearly $2 million to realize its mission of supporting students of Polish descent, academic and scientific exchange between the USA and Poland, and promotion of Polish culture in the USA.

The Foundation is a membership organization, and its activities depend on the support of the Polish community and individual donors. The annual membership in the KF starts at $60 ($30 for students). Details regarding membership types, the benefits arising from them, and programs offered by the Foundation are available on the website www.thekf.org.

The Kosciuszko Foundation, with headquarters in New York and offices in Washington and Warsaw, is one of the largest and oldest Polish organizations in the United States, dating back to 1925. Over the past 99 years of the Foundation's activities, thousands of beneficiaries, including prominent figures in social life, have benefited from its programs, influencing the course of history with their achievements.
