Polish-American Congress Picks Kaminski as a National V.P.
October 10, 2008
New York's Bozena Kaminski was elected National Vice President for the Polish Agenda of the Polish American Congress at its October 2nd National Directors Meeting.
The meeting was held at the Marriott Williamsburg (Virginia) Hotel during the visit of the Polish American Congress to Jamestown to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the arrival of Polish settlers to Jamestown in 1608.
This is the second time Mrs. Kaminski will serve as an officer of the National Congress. She served one term as its treasurer several years ago.
She is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Downstate N.Y. Division of the Polish American Congress. Mrs. Kaminski is also president and chief executive officer of the Polish & Slavic Center which provides social services to the Polish American community of New York City.
“The New York delegation is proud and happy our National Directors elected Bozena Vice President for the Polish Agenda. We wish her well and know she’ll prove herself a valuable addition to our main office,” said Frank Milewski who heads the Downstate N.Y. Division.
