YOUNGSTOWN – Simply Slavic, the downtown festival explicitly created to celebrate Greater Youngstown’s colorful Slavic community, invites the Mahoning Valley to embrace the holiday spirit with Simply Slavic’s festive “Home for the SLAVidays” event! Marking the halfway point to the annual Simply Slavic Festival, this holiday gathering will take place on Friday, December 20, 2024, from 7-11 PM at Penguin City Brewing Company in downtown Youngstown. Admission is $15 per person; children 12 and under get in free!

This unique event promises a raucous evening filled with Slavic holiday traditions, family-friendly entertainment, and seasonal shopping, all in celebration of our shared heritage and community spirit. Plus, guests will enjoy the exciting reveal and announcement of the 2025 Simply Slavic Festival Honorary Chair, who will help us lead and celebrate Slavic pride in Youngstown next summer!

Live music by the Chardon Polka Band to keep the holiday cheer going all night
A visit from the Cleveland Krampus and photos with St. Nicholas ????
Kolachi Kompetition for local bakers to show off their skills

Last Chance Christmas Market with local vendors like Kasia’s Polish Pottery for unique, last-minute gifts

Warm up with Slavic food from Kravitz Deli, Krakus Polish Deli & Bakery or Babcia’s Lunchbox food truck and enjoy Krupnik Martinis, with proceeds benefiting the Simply Slavic Scholarship Fund.
