Poland's Anti-Communist Resistance Memorial - Dedication Ceremony with President of Poland Andrzej Duda in PA

Memorial is dedicated to the Polish Freedom Fighters from Polish anti-Nazi and anti-Soviet and anti-communist underground resistance movement throughout the Poland.

Many of freedom fighters, including many women, were killed, tortured, and imprisoned by the Soviets and their puppets in Poland.

Ojcowie Paulini z duchowej stolicy Polonii - Amerykańskiej Częstochowy oraz Komitet Obchodów Katastrofy Smoleńskiej i Ludobójstwa Katyńskiego w skład którego wchodzą Portal Pamięć.us, Klub Gazety Polskiej w Filadelfii i Chicago, Koło Rodziny Radia Maryja, Kongres Polonii Amerykańskiej Oddziały New Jersey oraz Południowe New Jersey, zapraszają wszystkich na uroczystość odsłonięcia pomnika ku czci Żołnierzy Niezłomnych (Zolnierzy Wyklętych) w Amerykańskiej Częstochowie.

W sobotę 17-go września o godzinie 10:00 rozpocznie się konferencja poświęcona tej tematyce. Prelegentami będa między innymi: prof. Marek Chodakiewicz z Institute of World Politics, dr Mateusz Szpytma - wiceprezes IPN, Magdalena Merta - Urzad ds Kombatantów oraz dr Jacek Pawłowicz - dyrektor nowo powstałego Muzeum Żolnierzy Wyklętych w Warszawie.

W niedzielę 18-go września uroczystość  rozpocznie się Msza Św o godzinie 12:30, w której będzie uczestniczył Prezydent RP Andrzej Duda. Bezpośrednio po Mszy Św. nastąpi przejście na częstochowski cmentarz, gdzie Prezydent RP odsłoni pomnik Żołnierzy Niezłomnych autorstwa Bożeny i Andrzeja Praszczyków przedstawiający trzy legendarne postaci drugiej konspiracji: ppor “Inki”, Rotmistrza Witolda Pileckiego oraz ppłka “Łupaszki”, zamordowanych w bestialski sposób przez komunistów.

Tak w sobotę, jak i w niedzielę przewidywany jest program artystyczny z udziałem Mariki Szczepek, Ewy Tymińskiej, Jakuba Pasierba oraz Bardów patriotycznych Pawła Piekarczyka i Leszka Czajkowskiego, oraz Bożenę i Lecha Makowieckich - zespół "Zayazd".

The entrance of the Red Army on Polish territory in January 1944 brought neither freedom nor peace.  The NKVD began to arrest officers while the regular AK soldiers were being forcibly conscripted into the Berling's Army. In order to pulverize the impetuous of the society, the extermination of intelligentsia went into a full swing. Despite that, the resistance movement, even though weakened, remained faithfully guarding of Poland's sovereignty. Right from the outset of this Soviet domination the resistance undertook a form of an Armed Anticommunist Insurrection which lasted until the end of 1940's - and in certain regions of Poland even longer.

The physical extermination of the anticommunist underground soldiers was not nearly sufficient for them. The Communists knew very well that the sacrifice of young underground soldiers may in the future reach mythical status, and the new generation of Poles might draw their strength from it to fight them. It is for this reason that the murdered and slaughtered underground soldiers were buried in complete secrecy in cloacal holes, and refuse dumps ..., so that not even a cross marks their gravesites. Subsequently, the communist used all available propaganda tricks at their disposal to discourage and morally annihilate all of those who decided to fight against them with arms.
