PCF Invites You to a Ceremony Commemorating the Victims of the Genocide of Poles in Volhynia and Eastern Galicia
July 07, 2023
Polska Fundacja Kulturalna, Clark, NJ
We cordially invite you to a ceremony commemorating the victims of the genocide of Poles in Volhynia and Eastern Galicia carried out by the Ukrainian population in the years 1939 - 1947.
Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 6:30pm
(lowering the flags, information and artistic part, memories of the families of the victims, presentation of the relief about the Volhynian Genocide, which will soon be placed in front of the Polish Cultural Foundation headquarters)
The Polish Cultural Foundation remembers Poles murdered by Ukrainians all the time, not only on anniversaries. For several years, in front of the Foundation's headquarters, there has been a board (photo attached) showing the monument "Volyn Massacre" by A. Pityński - this board has been knocked over many times by "unknown perpetrators". On the door of the Foundation there is a poster of the Wołyń We Remember Foundation (photo) showing 2-year-old Czesia Chrzanowska murdered in her bed by Ukrainians.
During the demonstration against the war organized by us on March 6, 2022 at the Katyn Monument in Jersey City - we also strongly reminded of the Volhynian Genocide.
