Weekend Street Closures - October 20-21

One of three southbound lanes of the FDR Drive between East 14th Street and East 10th Street will be closed Saturday from 12:01 am to 8:00 am and Sunday from 1:00 am to 11:00 am to facilitate Con Edison construction activity.

One of three eastbound lanes of the Belt Parkway between Rockaway Boulevard to Laurelton Parkway will be maintained 11:00 pm to 5:00 am Sunday nights to Friday mornings during NYCDOT milling and resurfacing until late October.

One of four lanes westbound will be closed on the Grand Central Parkway at Steinway Street and the ramp from northbound BQE onto westbound Grand Central Parkway will be closed from 12:01 am Saturday until 10:00 am Sunday to facilitate NYCDOT bridge construction activity. Westbound motorists should consider alternate routes or follow posted detour for the BQE ramp closure onto Astoria Boulevard North.

The following street closures are scheduled for Saturday, October 20:
* Greenwich Avenue between 6th Avenue and 7th Avenue in Manhattan will be closed 11:00 am to 6:00 pm for the Village Independent Democrats Festival
* Waverly Place between Broadway and McDougal Street in Manhattan will be closed 11:00 am to 6:00 pm for the TR Group Republican Club Festival
* Bay Street from Water Street to Richmond Terrace in Staten Island will be closed 12 noon to 6:00 pm for the African American Caribbean Day Parade

The following street closures are scheduled for Sunday, October 21:
* Third Avenue between 23rd Street and 34th Street in Manhattan will be closed 11:00 am to 6:00 pm for the Our Lady of the Scapular & St. Stephen Church Festival
* 51st Street from 5th Avenue to 10th Avenue in Manhattan will be closed 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm for the Brotherhood Lord of Miracles
* Court Street between Joralemon Street and Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn will be closed 11:00 am to 6:00 pm for the NYS Young Republican Alumni Community Fair
