The KF Exchange Program to the United States for Polish Citizents

Promoting academic exchanges between Poland and the United States has been the cornerstone of the Kosciuszko Foundation's mission ever since its establishment nearly 100 years ago. Therefore, it gives us great pleasure to announce that applications for research grants and fellowships during the academic year 2023/2024 are now open!

The Exchange Program to the United States enables Polish graduate students and postgraduate researchers to pursue research, artistic projects, and teaching fellowships at institutions of higher learning in the United States. This program allows awardees to garner expertise, practical knowledge, and skills that they later bring back to Poland.

Founded in 1925, the Kosciuszko Foundation promotes closer ties between Poland and the United States through educational, scientific and cultural exchanges. It awards up to $1 million annually in fellowships and grants to graduate students, scholars, scientists, professionals, and artists, and promotes Polish culture in America. The Foundation has awarded scholarships and provided a forum to Poles who have changed history.
