Premier of a Documentary Film about First Lady Maria Kaczyńska in Washington, DC

To commemorate the 8th anniversary of the presidential plane crash in Smoleńsk join us for a screening of a documentary film about First Lady Maria Kaczyńska.
To commemorate the 8th anniversary of the presidential plane crash which claimed the lives of 96 passengers and crew,
including President Lech Kaczyński and First Lady Maria Kaczyńska.

The film screening will be preceded by a Holy Mass for the victims of the presidential plane crash at 11.00 a.m. in the Redemptor Hominis Church at the Saint John Paul II National Shrine
Maria Dłużewska - a Polish film director, scriptwriter, actress, journalist, anticommunist activist. In 1991 she worked as a journalist for the ”Spotkania” weekly magazine and from 1991 to 1993 for the ”Tygodnik Solidarność” weekly magazine. After 1993 she started making documentary films. Her most recent films are ”The Poles”, ”The Testament", "The Daughter”, ”The Contempt”, ”The Fog” and ”The Doorway to Freedom”.
