Evening with Minister Anna Anders and Polish American Congress

Polish American Congress, Washington Metropolitan Area Division, invites you to an evening with Minister Anna Maria Anders, Secretary of State in the Office of Prime Minister Szydło.
Minister Anders will speak about Poland's strategic and defense interests, as well as the government's current policy.

Minister Anders is Secretary of State in the Office of Prime Minister Szydło and the plenipotentiary of the president of the Council of Ministers for international dialogue. In March she was elected Senator from the strategically and militarily important northeastern region of Poland bordering Belarus. She is the daughter of the late renowned General Władyslaw Anders and Irena Anders (Renata Bogdańska). Minister Anders was born and educated in England, graduated from the University of Bristol, and earned an MBA from Boston University where she lived with her late husband, Robert Costa, a Colonel in the U.S. Army, in which her son Robert now serves. The conversation will be conducted in English. (doors open at 7:10 p.m.)
