PSFCU in NY is Offering College-Bound High School Seniors a Chance to Win Scholarships
December 17, 2015
As in previous years the Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union is offering scholarship programs to its young and ambitious members for their college education.
Polish & Slavic FCU is happy to announce that once again we are participating in the New York Credit Union Association’s statewide credit union scholarship program, which provides credit union members with scholarships. In 2015, scholarships were awarded in the amounts up to $1,500.
To be eligible, students must be high school seniors attending two- or four-year accredited educational institutions for the first time in the fall of 2016. They must also be members of Polish and Slavic FCU.
Students/applicants will be competing against other credit union members from across the state. Applicants will be judged based upon academic achievements, extracurricular and community activities and the quality of written essays. Application forms are available below and at all PSFCU branches.
In addition to the signed application a student must also submit:
- An official high school transcript documenting your GPA for grades 9-11
- An SAT/PSAT/ACT transcript (obtained through high school guidance office)
- A typed, essay response
The entire package should be brought back by the student to his/her local branch for Manager’s approval.
For more information about the scholarship program, contact Marcin Micek at 973-808-3240 ext:6120 or Scholarships@psfcu.net.
