Women's rights, household and gender roles... Women in Galician Society, 1867-1914.
The lecture is conducted by Tomasz Pudlocki, Assistant Professor at the Institute of History, Jagiellonian University. Tomasz specializes in the history of Galicia from socio-cultural point of view. He just published his Associate Professor book on Polish-British intellectual connection in the interwar period. He is a member of the Commision on History of Women (Polish Historical Society), the Commision on History of Science (Polish Academy of Arts and Science), former President of Society of Friends of Sciences in Przemyśl and The Kosciuszko Foundation Grentee (2012/2013). He is also a grantee of Polish Ministry of Higher Education for best young scholar (up to 35). Author of 4 books, co-editor of 5. Two of them are devoted to the history of women.
