After its success in the UK, a retrospective of the work of Walerian Borowczyk will take place at the Film Society of Lincoln Center on April 2-9, 2015, in partnership with the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in the U. S. and the Polish Cultural Institute New York.
The program will feature titles such as The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Miss Osbourne, A Dazzling Imagination, Blanche, The Beast, The Theatre of Mr & Mrs Kabal, Goto, Island of Love, The Streetwalker, Behind Convent Walls, Immoral Tales, The Story of Sin, Love Rites, Lulu, Private Collections, Immoral Women. A selection of rare shorts (Renaissance, Astronauts, House, Rosalie, Diptyque, A Private Collection, Joachim's Dictionary, Once Upon a Time, Requited Feelings, The Game of Angels) will complete this unique series.
The program is presented by the Film Society of Lincoln Center.
