Save for Your Child's Future with ESA

Th e Education Savings Account (ESA) is designed to help families save money to pay for a child’s education expenses from kindergarten through college. Based on income requirements, contributions can be:
• Up to the current maximum per year for the designated benefi ciary (child)
• Made if child is under the age of 18 (or beyond for special needs)
• Transferred to another family member if not used by benefi ciary
• Earning generous dividends from United Poles FCU
ESA 3.00% APY*
Your ESA Savings can pay for qualifi ed education expenses, such as:
• Tuition and fees
• Books and supplies
• Computer equipment to be used for education
• Transportation
• Room and board—only in some cases
To qualify for an ESA, the child must be a member of United Poles FCU with a minimum deposit of $50 in a regular savings account or $10 in Kids’ Club Account.
