Come Out On June 17th for a Day of Transformational Service!

City Year New York is looking for 700 volunteers to help spruce up schools, recreation centers and parks in Harlem and Hunts Point, Bronx on Saturday, June 17, 2006.

Volunteers will help with landscaping, gardening, indoor and mural painting and much more! This is a great day to bring your family out to join the City Year family for an inspiring day of service. Volunteers will work side by side with over 1,000 City Year Corps members from all around the country and South Africa. These energetic and thoughtful youth spent the last year volunteering in our City's schools and after school programs while contributing tens of thousands of hours to community service projects. The June 17th service day marks the end of the City Year week-long national conference on service, cyzygy.

Come out and join corps members, community leaders, neighbors and friend on what is sure to be a beautiful summer day.
