1. Set Up a Budget
Decide what is an affordable and realistic budget for your income. Don’t purchase gifts just because they are on sale. Purchase gifts that are practical and will be used.
Write what you’re planning to buy down on paper, follow through and stick to that budget!
2. Shop Early
Te saying, “Te early bird gets the worm” is especially true during the holiday shopping season. Most stores have many options to choose from in October and November. More styles and sizes are usually available to early shoppers.
3. Compare Prices
Shopping around has its advantages. Being aware of sale prices and discounts can defnitely give you some bang for your buck. Ask sales clerks if there are any coupons available to use.
4. Shop Online
Many online retailers give deeper discounts when shopping online. Use coupon and discount codes that are available to online shoppers.
5. Keep Your Receipts
You never know when you may need them. Something may not ft on Christmas morning or you may fnd the item you just bought at a deeper discount at another store.
By living within a budget for the holidays, it makes for a happier and healthier holiday season!
