Danuta Wałęsa
At the age of 19, she left her home village in the region of Mazovia and moved to Gdansk  where in 1969 she married Lech Wałę™sa, the futre "Solidarity" leader and President of Poland (1990-1995). She gave birth to and raised eight children. During the martial law in Poland, she became a spokesperson for her interned husband. On his behalf, she accepted the 1983 Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo, Norway, and in 1989 the Liberty Medal in Philadelphia, PA. Also in 1989, together with her husband, she hosted Barbara and George Bush. Danuta Wałęsa met with John Paul II on numerous occasions. For many years, she remained in the shadow of her famous husband. Her recent memoirs "Dreams and Secrets" became a bestseller in Poland.

Dagmara Dominczyk
Dagmara Dominczyk was born in Kielce, Poland and emigrated to NYC at the age of seven. She received BFA in theatre from Carnegie Mellon University, and has been a Broadway, television and film actress for the last thirteen years. Her roles include Mercedes in The Count of Monte Cristo (opposite Jim Caviezel), Marguerite in The Five People You Meet in Heaven (opposite Jon Voight), Delphine in Lonely Hearts (opposite Salma Hayek) and Annika in Higher Ground (opposite Vera Farmiga). Recently, she played Ed Harris' wife in the film Phantom, and co-starred with Joaquin Phoenix and Marion Cotillard, in the upcoming movie Low Life. This year, Dominczyk also sold her first novel, The Lullaby of Polish Girls to Spiegel & Grau of Random House, and it will be published in the spring of 2013. She is married to actor Patrick Wilson, and aside from being an actress and author, Dagmara's most rewarding role is that of mother to her two beautiful sons, Kalin and Kassian.

Jenufa Gleich
According to LA NAZIONALE, Jenufa Gleich is a "rare dramatic soprano that extends with ease and flexibility to an imprssive upper register." LA REPUBBLICA recognizes "an outstanding singer with superb technique." Recently, Jenufa made her debut with Opera Orchestra of New York in a Meyerbeer recital at the Bohemian National Hall and also covered the title role of Selika in l'Africaine at Avery Fisher Hall (Queler), Queen Elisabeth in Roberto Devereux with Opera Holland Park (Bonynge) and Jenny (the Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny) with Teatro Goldini in Livorno, Italy (Jonathan Webb), directedby Alessio Pizzech. Additional international companies include NYC Opera as Marenka (The Bartered Bride), Bel Canto at Caramoor of NY as Lisa (La Sonnambula), and First Lady (Die Zauberflöte), Opera Festival della Toscana as the Soprano in Carmina Burana, Opera Grosseto as Violetta (La Traviata), and with the Queens Symphony Orchestra summer concert series, singing excerpts from Don Giovanni.

The Polish Singers Alliance of America (Est. 1889)
The Aria Chorus was founded in 1964 under the umbrella of the Polish Youths Association in Passaic, NJ and since then have been participating in the patriotic, cultural and sacral events in teh Tri-state area. Aria's artistic achievements own much to the following conductors: Dr. Boleslaw Serban, Prof. Jerzy Garbien, Dayle Vander Sande, Alicja Rusewicz-Pagorek, and as of January 2012 to Dawid Perkowiski. Aria gave many splendid performances in the past years, singing at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown, PA in the presence of the President Lyndon B. Johnson, at the Polish Embassy in Washington Dc and at the United States Military Academy, West Point, NY, to name just a few.
