New Eastern European Breast Surgeon, Dr. Agnes Radzio, Joins Department of General Surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens

Dr. Radzio sees patients at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens in the Breast Center, performs surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, and is an assistant professor of clinical surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine. At NYP Queens, she joins a team at the forefront of emerging technology for minimally invasive procedures for breast cancer treatment. She provides care for patients during all stages of breast cancer and specializes in:

• Fine needle aspiration
• Lumpectomy
• Lymph node dissection
• Sentinel lymph node biopsy 

Prior to her NYP appointment, Dr. Radzio served as a breast surgeon at New York University Langone Medical Center and NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist. She was a site director of breast surgery at Mount Sinai Brooklyn. She completed fellowship training in breast surgical oncology at University of California, San Francisco. She has extensive clinical experience in providing multidisciplinary therapy for patients with benign and malignant breast diseases.

Dr. Radzio received her M.D. from the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University, completed her residency in general surgery at Thomas Jefferson University and received her M.S. from the Kellogg Center for Biotechnology at Northwestern University.

She is fluent in English, Polish and Russian.
