Educational tour “Poland – 100 Years” with The Kosciuszko Foundation from NY

Experience the cultural delights of Krakow, Sandomierz, Czestochowa, Oswiecim, Wadowice, Lublin and Warszawa, September 22-30, 2018

The Kosciuszko Foundation partners with the Open University of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin in organizing an educational tour “Poland – 100 Years” to some of the most significant places in Poland. The highlights of the trip include visiting historical, cultural and religious sites of Krakow, Sandomierz, Czestochowa, Oswiecim, Wadowice, Lublin and Warszawa. The aim of the tour is to present the history of Poland through the program that combines academic elements with cultural and tourist attractions.

The aim of the tour is to present the history of Poland from the time of regaining its independence in 1918 till present through the program that combines academic elements with cultural and tourist attractions. The program is organized by the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, one of the oldest universities in Poland, which this year also celebrates its centennial. Some of the program's activity will be held in Lublin, in which Old Town's - an architectural gem - beat the hearts of several cultures and religions. Then, a journey through the picturesque areas of eastern, central and southern Poland will ensure not only a multitude of enjoyable experiences but it will also bring closer the intricacies of Polish history and culture. The program also includes attending lectures and meetings with scholars and outstanding individuals in respective cities. The tour will be an excellent opportunity to experience famous Polish hospitality and other traits. The trip lasting just one week will certainly become a memorable journey for many, many years. 

Fee: $1,680 per person plus $95 – non-refundable registration fee.

Airfare to/from Poland is not included
