03 maja, 2010
The Nowodworski Foundation invites you to participate in the sixth Summer Arts Camp for children 10-17 years old. Our goal is to introduce American middle and high school students to the treasures of Polish culture, architecture and nature. Our unique Art Camp program combines daily art work with hiking and site-seeing. Our camp represents a wonderful meeting opportunity for both Polish and American cultures, and for the Polish and English languages.
WHERE This year we plan to introduce our young artists to unique traditions and picturesque landscapes of the Beskidy Mountains. The Binkowka, hamlet of Sidzina sitting at the foothills of the Beskidy Mountains, is a vibrant and colorful tourist destination. It is rich in old, ornate wooden architecture. Babia Gora, the highest peak of Beskidy reached by foot, will expose students to the magnificent vistas of surrounding valleys, Tatra Mountains, also Gorce and Pieniny Mountains.
