Who is Eligible for Free VITA Tax Prep During the tax season?

Services are available to:

• Those with income under $60,000 (with dependents), or,
• Those with income under $34,000 (single), or,
• Those who are self-employed with expenses of $5,000 or less.
• IRS-certified volunteers provide basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals. One important goal of the program is to assist eligible taxpayers in applying for the Earned Income Tax Credit, (EITC) which can result in a substantial refund for low-income working families and individuals.

  Keep $250, $300, or even up to $350 in your pocket instead of paying someone to prepare your tax return.  Our services are trusted and our  volunteers and staff are professional. We will prepare and file your taxes for free during the tax season! In 2018, the tax season will run from January 21st to April 16th.
