Tsiknopempti: An Apokriatiko Celebration. Presented by Hellenic Public Radio Cosmos FM - 91.5

Derived from the ancient Greek tradition of offering delicious meats to the gods, Tsiknopempti is a day of celebration and indulgence prior to the 40 day fasting period leading up to Easter. On this day, Greeks gather and celebrate the beginning of Lent, with the consumption of savory grilled and roasted meats.* This year\'s party will include wine and a traditional “Tsiknopempti” feast for $80.00 per person. The evening is sure to be filled with good food, drinks, friends, live Greek music, dancing, lots of gifts and surprises.
