5K Run / Walk & Kids Run Celebrating Poland's Presidency of the Visegrad Group in Potomac, MD

Join us for V4 Run - V4 Fun on October 15th. Registration is free and space is limited so don't delay. Family fun guaranteed for all!
Take part in a family friendly sporting event in beautiful Great Falls, Maryland and learn more about Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia - the four Visegrad countries known simply as V4.
Unique medals for all finishers, toys and prizes for kids, refreshments, delicious European pastries and great fun guaranteed. The winners in different categories will receive additional honors and various prizes. The course is flat and runs through a picturesque area.
Registration is FREE, but usual entrance fees for C&O Canal National Historic Park still apply, so we suggest carpooling https://www.nps.gov/choh/planyourvisit/fees.htm
The V4 Run is organized by the Embassy of Poland in partnership with DC Road Runners and in collaboration with the Embassies of the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia. These four Central European countries cooperate closely with each other and are called the Visegrad Group (V4). The group was created 25 years ago during a meeting in Visegrád, a historic city in Hungary.

Schedule:
- 7.30 – 8.45 – packet pick-up
- 8.55 – official opening and warm-up
- 9.00 – 5K Run and Walk - start
- 10.00– Kids Run (up to 12 years)
- 10.30 – 12.00 picnic
Timing: This race is timed using the Chronotrack timing system
No strollers on the trail - Dogs must be kept on very short leash
