Rain brought more delays to the US Open on Wednesday, giving organisers a new scheduling headache a day after torrential downpours wiped out the entire programme.
All four women\'s quarter-finals, two men\'s quarter-finals and the remaining four men\'s fourth round matches were all due to be played.
"Today\'s weather forecast calls for intermittent drizzle with some possible periods of dryness this afternoon," said a US Tennis Association statement.
"We continue to monitor the weather and will make every effort to play today\'s scheduled matches."
