5K and 1K Kids Run on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 8:15 AM – 11:30 Hosted by Embassy of Poland, Washington DC
Take part in a family-friendly run in celebration of Thaddeus Kosciuszko, a Revolutionary War hero who served in the Continental Army and helped America win its independence. Described by Thomas Jefferson as “the purest son of liberty,” Thaddeus Kosciuszko stood for equality and liberty for all.
Join us in commemorating Kosciuszko’s legacy with a run on Sunday, October 6th 2019, through the picturesque C&O Canal National Historic Park (Great Falls, MD). Run with us or just come to cheer on your friends and family while enjoying some delicious Polish and Lithuanian delicacies.
Registration is FREE, but usual entrance fees for C&O Canal National Historic Park still apply, so we encourage you to carpool
