Women’s Day of Action in Philly

Dozens of Democratic women ethnic leaders representing more than 30 different heritages and traveling from half a dozen states are mobilizing for a National Democratic Ethnic Coordinating Council (NDECC) Women’s Day of Action in Philadelphia, PA on Saturday, November 5th.

The day of GOTV engagement in Pennsylvania, a key battleground state, is a final large coordinate push of support for Hillary Clinton for president and Democrats down the ballot before Election Day. Organized by the NDECC’s Women’s Council, the festivities will be kicked off with a breakfast event at the famous Parc Rittenhouse featuring remarks from special guests the Honorable Katherine Kennedy Townsend (niece of former President John F. Kennedy) and the Honorable Majorie Margolies (Chelsea Clinton’s mother-in-law, a Philadelphia native).

Afterward, the group will gather at the Rittenhouse Park for photos with campaign signs, and then group will head to the Hillary for America campaign headquarters at 23rd and Snyder to pick up packets and directions for canvassing in the local area, spending the afternoon going door-to-door to help Democrats win the White House and other key races.

The NDECC secured a bus that will travel to Philadelphia departing the Democratic National Committee headquarters at 430 South Capitol Street, SE, Washington, D.C. at 7:00 AM on Saturday.
