Another Polish Joke on SNL the Night Before Pulaski Day Parade
Alex Storożyński 05 października, 2015
To Steve Burke - CEO NBC Universal,
It’s ridiculous that Saturday Night Live would again make an offensive Polish joke the night before hundreds of thousands took part in the Pulaski Day Parade down 5th Avenue in Manhattan.
“October is Polish Heritage month,” said Colin Jost. ‘To find out more, you can Google it by sticking your finger on your computer and have two other people move the keyboard up and down.” Huh? This is what passes for humor at SNL these days? John Belushi is turning in his grave.
To say that this joke fell flat is an understatement. It was just not funny, along with the rest of the show. Today, Polish-Americans hold our heads high in celebration of Pulaski Day. We’re proud of our heritage. I don’t see how Colin Jost, Lorne Michaels and NBC can say the same about SNL.
