SYRACUSE POLISH FESTIVAL – TRULY FANTASTIC ATMOSPHERE.
The Polish Scholarship Fund (PSF) has established the Polish Festival as an annual celebration of Polish culture, tribute to our Polish heritage, and our pride as American citizens.
An all-volunteer, non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c) (3) fundraising organization, PSF helps talented students of Polish descent achieve their academic goals by providing them with financial assistance.
The Polish Festival in Syracuse’s Clinton Square has become the largest cultural event in the history of the Polish community in Central New York. In recent years, we have reached out to the growing surrounding Syracuse community and to Poles throughout the state interested in the Polish culture.
The Annual 61st Festival features lots of favorite traditional Polish foods: pierogi (stuffed dumplings), golabki (cabbage rolls), kielbasa (sausage), Bigos (hunter’s stew), and an assortment of Polish desserts lovingly prepared by our well-known vendors. We truly do offer delicious Polish food and the best Polish beer. A wide variety of traditional Polish souvenirs, jewelry, t-shirts, hats and other arts and crafts will be sold during the event.
At the Festival there will be performances by Jimmy Sturr,Salt City Brass,Melody Lane,John Spilett Trio,Popshow Band, Billionaires Band from Syracuse NY, Lechowia Polish folk dancers, and other great artists.
In addition to our musical and dance entertainment, the Polish Festival provides a safe and fun children’s area complete with games, face painting, a magician show or friendly clown with other fun activities to keep the kids entertained.
