This reception will take place in the magnificent 1906 De Lamar Mansion, with its beautiful Gilded Age Beaux Art-style architecture.

There will be remarks by New York Consul General Ewa Junczyk-Ziomecka and David Harris, Executive Director of the American Jewish Committee.

Take this opportunity to meet and network with people who share a passion for the legacy of Jan Karski and to celebrate the strong and growing ties between Poles and Polish Americans of Christian and Jewish heritage.

A spectacular silent auction of European and American artworks, Jan Karski coins and wonderful Polish posters will highlight the evening, along with a luscious Polish buffet.

Also, money raised at this reception will go towards such initiatives as the new Jan Karski scholarship for Georgetown\'s Leadership Seminar at the School of Foreign Service, providing books and materials by and about Karski to schools around the country, as well as exhibits about Jan Karski and the Polish Underground at museums around the US and Canada.
