The annual Polish Festival at Our Lady of the Bright Mount Polish Parish in Los Angeles is around the corner and will take place on Sunday, September 28, 2014.
We are planning an extravaganza of Polish culture and traditions including entertaining and fun for the whole family. We will start with the Holy Mass at 10:00 am and follow with an entertainment untill 8:00 pm.
This year Festival will be dedicated to our Pope John Paul II under the slogan “St. John Paul II – Now and Forever”. On April 27, 2014, millions of people throughout the world celebrated the canonization of Pope John Paul II. In addition, on April 2, 2014, we welcomed and honored St. John Paul II by installing His statue in front of our parish. St. John Paul II always proclaimed that God welcomed everyone, even those who did not believe in Him. With St. John Paul II present in our parish in the form of the relic and the statue, we wish to welcome people of all backgrounds to celebrate with us and experience this event.
We are planning an exciting program for Polish Festival LA 2014 and invite you to check out our Internet pages for the latest updates and schedules:
- Website at www.polskaparafiala.org/festival.
- Facebook page – Polish Festival Los Angeles 2014.
Last but certainly not least, during the Festival we will hold an annual raffle. The tickets are $2 each or one booklet (11 tickets) for $20. The prizes are wonderful – ranging from cash to many others. The raffle is one of our most important fundraisers and our goal is to sell all raffle tickets that we have printed. Please help us reach this goal by purchasing raffle tickets before the Festival.
We extend the warmest Polish invitation to you, your family and your friends to attend Polish Festival LA 2014. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday, September 28th.
