Prof. Krzysztof M. Górski is a Polish astrophysicist, faculty member of Warsaw University Observatory and Senior Research Scientist at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory managed for NASA by Caltech in Pasadena.

Modjeska Club invites all interested in astronomy to join for the extraordinary lecture by prof. Krzysztof Górski.

Prof. Krzysztof M. Górski is a Polish astrophysicist, faculty member of Warsaw University Observatory and Senior Research Scientist at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory managed for NASA by Caltech in Pasadena. Krzysztof will share with us beautiful images of the universe that illustrate the recent achievements of the astronomical space missions, and comment on the advances in our understanding of the universe, while emphasizing contributions of Polish astronomers (from Copernicus till the present).

Please park in the Visitor parking lot, which is located past the traffic circle and to the left of the main entrance.

Signs will direct you to the lecture hall. Admission is free to members and their guests. This engagement will be in English.
