The 10th Annual Dinner-Auction - Brighton-Ziębice Sister City in Brighton, CO

Program:

• 6.30 pm – traditional Polish dinner
• 7.00 pm – a performance by the Krakowiacy Dance group
• 7.30 pm – the live auction

Brighton Sister Cities continues strong relationship with the sister city, Ziebice Poland. Over the past seventeen years many Brighton students and adults have traveled to Ziebice, while Brighton have hosted a number of students and adults from Ziebice. During this time an incredible bond has developed and a true understanding of cultural diversity has emerged.

Obviously, such an exchange is expensive to stage, and very well worth it. While the students and adults from Brighton pay most of their own travel expenses, funds are needed to help the students from Ziebice travel to Brighton and to pay for their day trips. In addition Brighton Sister Cities has completed the “Ziebice Gate Project” in Sister Cities Park and funds are needed to maintain this structure.

Brighton Sister Cities wishes to raise funds for the above. The 10th annual dinner and auction will be hosted in order to meet demands. Over 200 people are expected to attend. It will be a fun filled event with a traditional Polish meal. Donations for auction are welcomed. New items that appeal at a benefit auction such as sports collectable items, event tickets, glassware, a week end in a condo or time share etc. would be appreciated. All donations are tax deductible.
