Polish Filmmakers NYC is proud to present the New York premiere of A Diary of a Journey.
The documentary follows 82-year-old Rolke on a road trip in 2012 where he reflects on his life and shares his wisdom with Michal, a 15-year-old apprentice. The two travel across Poland, taking portrait photographs of residents in small towns and villages while the dark room placed in their camper enables them to develop pictures on the spot and give them to the models they accidentally meet. Through the journey, a touching friendship between two generations is formed.

The film will be followed by a Q&A with the director and a reception and exhibition of Rolke\'s photos at nearby Cristina Dos Santos gallery, 39 North Moore St.
