Polish Ambassador visited the Game Developers Conference - the world\'s largest computer game industry event

On March 25, 2012 Ambassador Ryszard Schnepf visited the Game Developers Conference - the world\'s largest computer game industry event – in Palo Alto and San Francisco, and delivered opening remarks at the Poland is in the Game(s) session organized by the U.S.-Polish Trade Council (USPTC).
The session followed the Ambassador’s visit to the U.S.-Poland Innovation Hub in Palo Alto, where he learned about the USPTC’s mission and activities.
Ambassador Schnepf also met with the leadership and fellows of the Hoover Institution at Stanford University, including John Raisian, Director of the Institute, Thaddeus Taube, Member Board of Overseers and Honorary Consul of the Republic of Poland, and Gary Becker, Nobel Laureate in economics.

During his visit to Stanford University, Ambassador Schnepf also met with the leadership of the Center for Professional Development - Paul Marca, Director and Piotr Moncarz, the Academic Director of the Top 500 Innovators Program at the Center. The program is funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Poland and offers Polish participants top notch training in the commercialization of research and innovation.
