“I believe that further developments in Afghanistan will provide an effective framework for developing economic cooperation with Poland,” said MFA Undersecretary of State Katarzyna Kacperczyk during the Polish-Afghan economic seminar that took place on 18 December in the National Economic Chamber.
The seminar was preceded by a four-day study visit organised for Afghan entrepreneurs by the MFA. During the visit, Polish entrepreneurs were shown how they can contribute to the modernisation of Afghan economy. Polish companies also profit from opportunities offered by Afghanistan’s stable and rapidly developing economy.
Afghan entrepreneurs will also meet with representatives of the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency and visit the city of Lodz, where they will participate in meetings with local businessmen, members of the voivodeship management and representatives of the Lodz Special Economic Zone, organised by the Lodz Regional Development Agency.
The Afghan delegation consists of 27 businessmen and representatives of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ACCI) and the Afghanistan Investment Support Agency (AISA).
