Maciej Miąsik
From adventures to role playing games, veteran game developer, producer, designer, programmer, sound designer and co-founder of Detalion and recently Pixel Crow Maciej Miasik fulfilled many different roles in numerous video games projects. Probably the best known is the millionfold sold “The Witcher” series where he worked as a head of production for the first one. A lot of other games he was participating in would be known to adventure game players: “Reah: Face the Unknown”, “Schizm: Mysterious Journey”, “Mysterious Journey II: Chameleon and Sentinel: Descendants in Time” - all known for a few very tricky puzzles. Last but not least one title co-developed by him shall not remain unreferenced: “Electro Man” (1993) being one of the first successful Polish PC games, enjoying a small cult following. Maciej is also actively engaged in different educational efforts, as a Curriculum Director at GameDev School, and as a regular lecturer at Warsaw Film School and Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology.
