Polish export in the forefront of Europe according to HSBC \"Global Connections\"
06 kwietnia, 2013
In terms of export growth in the coming years Poland will be at the forefront of European states - according to HSBC \"Global Connections\".
The rate of growth of Polish exports in the period covered by HSBC forecast (that is by 2030) will place us at the forefront of European states. Up to year 2020, Polish exports will grow at the rate of 8-10% per year, while during the next decade the average growth rate will amount to 7%. In our part of the world a better result is expected to be reached only in Turkey.
In the longer perspective, up to year 2030, no significant changes in the structure of Polish exports should be expected. The prime groups of exported goods remain machinery and equipment for industry and transportation. However, high-tech goods such as ICT equipment, are anticipated to grow while the share of goods produced by traditional industries (animal products, textile products, wood, etc.) are to decrease.
The rapid economic growth of Asian countries will result in a significant increase in demand, met among others, also by the Polish products. It is expected that the increase in our export to China, India, Vietnam and Malaysia will manifest itself annually in a two-digit number. The rate is to be maintained throughout the period of aforementioned prognosis, that is until 2030. (HSBC "Global Connections")
